Overprotection – Love – Security

Security, one of the ultimate goals that man can seek for his whole life. Security contains the meaning of love and protection, be it for one’s self or for other dear ones. Being in love with someone is just a feeling you can’t endanger. For always, securing them is what you always think of.

Being in love, love in general, can be expressed in terms of securing the loved one physically and emotionally. To secure the state of being safe and sound. To keep them satisfied.

Security and love. The constant need to have it all. Though, nothing is perfect, nothing goes perfect. Even if imagined that in the state of time everything is perfect, something goes wrong. Every human being in the deepest know this fact. Logically this requires living the moment, not thinking what can happen next. Ignoring the game of possibilities and probabilities. The opposite happens. We always worry, thinking about the future and how things can go bad. In the beginning there was protection and security. Then, comes overprotection, over-security, pressuring to make vulnerabilities to appear. And when they are too obvious, perfectness goes with the wind. Joy and happiness are replaced by worry and frustration. You think of protecting the other and the other feels jailed in the prison of overprotection, over-security.

After all this thinking and all this worrying about the future, it is very hard to think that what could have been a beautiful present became the expected future (or past).

Love yourself, love your loved ones, feel them. Live the moment, never worry about the future for you can’t ever change it, so why worry about it? Seek happiness like seeking a lost child.

Don’t worry about the future, only then, you will have it all.
